Rentenbach has been involved in the industrial sector almost from our founding in 1946. We have an extensive portfolio of both light and heavy industrial, warehousing and distribution center construction.
Our light and heavy industrial portfolio is concentrated in Tennessee, Kentucky, North Carolina and Virginia and ranges from second tier automotive to primary printing and to food production/processing. Many of these facilities include fabrication and painting/coating processes.
Our distribution center portfolio includes extensive experience with ASRS (Automatic System Retrieval Systems) and RFI (Radio Frequency Identification) inventory systems and rack supported buildings as well as other innovations to the industrial sector.
We are often involved in the planning stages working with design professionals to select building type, and envelope design (i.e. precast concrete, conventional masonry, insulated metal panels, etc) based on the many variables impacting an industrial project.
From building in the hurricane zones of the Gulf and East Coasts to the bitter cold climates of Michigan we have consistently solved site specific problems to maintain our safety and quality standards.
We have constructed facilities in the Seismic Class “D” area within the Madrid fault as well as other locales that presented other forms of subsurface bearing challenges.
